Recipe Of The Week-Bacon Wrapped Parmesan Crusted Chicken Tenders

Here is a little dish I found that taste as good as it looks. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

  • 12 slices uncooked bacon
  • 1 1/4 lbs. chicken tenders (about 12 chicken tenders)
  • 1 3/4 cups freshly grated parmesan
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  1. Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees F (220 C). Line a baking sheet or large pan with foil and fold edges up to prevent juices from leaking off.
  2. Beat eggs with oil in medium mixing bowl. Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Dip each piece of chicken into batter to coat and place on foil lined pan.
  4. Wrap one piece of bacon around each piece of chicken and place back on pan with ends of bacon underneath.
  5. Bake for 25 – 30 minutes until chicken is done [if you are not sure, you can check the chicken with a thermometer until it reads 165 F (75 C)].
  6. Turn on broil and cook for 3-5 minutes until bacon crisps up.

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 45 minutes

Total Time: 60 minutes

This dish is delicious.
